Lisa Golden is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals reach their rehabilitative and performance goals.  After treating patients with avoidable workplace injuries, she chose to emphasize Ergonomics along with her Orthopedic continuing education coursework to fulfill her desire to be on the preventive side of injury management. This led to her first Ergonomics certification course in 2002 and she has worked in the field and continued her education in ergonomics and injury prevention ever since. In addition to consulting with companies small and large, Lisa has worked for San Diego's leading healthcare organization focusing on various aspects of injury prevention in both clinical and administrative settings.

 

With her physical therapy experience working with a wide range of individuals, Lisa also has insight into special considerations including pregnancy and postpartum, the aging workforce, children and teens, and employees returning to work after injury or surgery. She brings her clinical experience to resolving issues that are both human and environmentally based. 

 

Lisa has a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from UC San Francisco and a Bachelor’s of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
